I’m so excited to share the news! Bright Ideas, my class from 2013, is returning to the Studio Calico Classroom this August with new challenges, new layouts, new sketches, new digital content, and new videos!! We’re calling it MORE Bright Ideas and registration opens today.
CLASS DESCRIPTION : It’s easy to sit back and watch your supplies pile up. Finding the inspiration once you commit to using them is harder. In “More Bright Ideas,” resident expert Nicole Samuels will guide you along a four week course designed to jump start your creativity and get the supplies off your desk and into your projects. Eliminate those piles in this virtual crafting retreat full of ideas, inspiration and motivation.
In this workshop, Nicole will guide you through 8 creative challenges designed to make you look at paper and glue in a whole new light. The first challenge will be posted on August 5th, and new lessons will be posted each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month.
Registration for this workshop will close on July 31st at 11:59pm EST.
If you’re feeling in a rut with your scrapbooking or that you gather more supplies than you actually use, this is a perfect class for you. Not only are the 8 lessons and 2 videos packed with ideas and tips, but the CLASS GALLERY will be just overflowing with inspiration. That class gallery was my favorite part of the Bright Ideas experience last year. I was blown away at what you all created!
Check out the amazing digital content Geralyn Sy created for the class. I gave her some ideas and she nailed every single one. She is so super talented and I pretty much love everything Geralyn makes! (swooning over the greek key designs!)
There’s not a class kit with this class, but there is a nice deal if you need some extra supplies for class! I’ve showcased some of my favorite basic supplies on the class supply page. Be sure to have More Bright Ideas added to your cart + the code entered to take advantage of the offer.
I hope you’ll join me in the SC classroom in August. If you took Bright Ideas last year, I’d love if you left a comment sharing your favorite part of the class. I’d also love to hear your most challenging scrapbooking stash item… what do you need to use up?!
