It’s just about reveal time at SC! The February kit, called Sugar Rush, goes up for sale on the 28th! (Or midnight of the 27th… however you like to think of it. And lucky subscribers get access at presale tomorrow (the 27th) at noon EST. (If you’re interested in becoming a subscriber, you can click here and read about the different kits available.) I shared 3 of my sneaks on the message board a couple days ago, but I have one more to share today and I wanted to include them all in one place. These first two were made with just the main Sugar Rush Scrapbooking Kit.
And these two use the Sugar Rush Scrapbook Add-on kits in addition to the main. The page below is built around a quote/saying in the card digital stamp brush set that I cut out with my Silhouette. Month after month I find myself using the card digi brushes as cut files…sometimes more so than the scrapbook ones! And this set is a great one!!
The gold dipped leaves are in the Gum Drop add on… they are so gorgeous in real life. If you’re on the fence about an add on… let those leaves push you towards Gum Drop! I used the leaves as a little forest of trees in the page below.
I really enjoyed all kits and add ons this month! But I thought I’d give you some shop items you may want to add to your kit order this month. (And remember… you can start shopping at midnight tonight and have your shipping bundled with your kit!) When the DT gets our peek at the kits before they ship to us, we only get to see a little collage of product. It’s a great peek, but it never does the kit justice and sometimes the items are shown in full, etc. The down side to that is I often wish I could have added some shop items that coordinate with that kit beforehand, but by the time I get my kit and start working with it… I wouldn’t be able to get the shop items fast enough to use them! So, I thought I’d give you my “wish I would have ordered this with my kit!” shopping list. The stuff I wish I would have had on hand!
12×12 Grid Paper: I love using patterned papers as background papers on my layouts and this month I found myself using mostly white patterned or light patterned background. For whatever reason, they seemed to work really well with the elements in the kits. I really could have used an extra grid paper… or two or three!
Double Sided Adhesive sheets for the Silhouette and Silhouette Glitter! Boy, that glittered die cut title would have been SOOOO much faster and less messy if I’d used that instead of the old fashioned glue + glitter approach. I’m adding these items to my cart next time for sure.
Thanks for stopping by! What’s on your must have list for reveal tomorrow?
