I have some Roundabout pages to share today! The new kit at SC went live for subscribers a few hours ago and will be available for non-subbers at midnight. I worked with the main Scrapbook Kit, Navy Pier, Cumberland Gap (Project Life add on kit), and bits and pieces of the main Project Life kit (they cards didn’t arrive to me in time, but the other parts of the kit did!). I also used several of the digital stamp brushes and cut files from the digital shop this month (I think the stamp brushes especially are such a great value if you don’t want to buy a whole add on or additional kit!)…and my silhouette machine.
Summer Love: For this page, I used a digi stamp brush for the title on the photo and then embellished a little right there as well. I like using the dead space on an enlarged photo like that every once in a while. This was my son looking for fossilized shark teeth on the beach last summer. We collected a whole bunch…but you had to be very patient and look really hard to find them!
Be You: I love the alpha stamp in Navy Pier and decided I wanted to stamp out a quote with it. This Dr. Seuss quote fit the silly photo of Jack pretty well. I added a little stitching along the designs of the paper as an accent.
Go Ape: I gave the polaroid frame stamp a work out on this layout! I stamped it first onto a piece of scrap paper, cut it out and then used that as a mask when stamping on my layout. That allowed me to make it look like the stamped images were layered over one another. I cut the “hello love” design out of white cardstock and then misted it with some Taxi Mister Huey’s. I love that mist covers the white cardstock so beautifully!
Jockey’s Ridge – I couldn’t resist using a whole slew of the chipboard frames on this one page. I loved the color combo included in the pack of frames and that you get so many of them! Add a few small pics, some patterned paper, a few embellies and it’s done! Have a great day!
