It’s been a few years since I’ve been able to attend CHA and every time the next show rolls around and the pictures start flooding Facebook and instagram, I miss it terribly! It’s like craft paradise roaming the show floor and of course all those online friends that you get to actually hang out with in the flesh….it’s a good time. But if I can’t be there in person, I love that I can at least get to play with the new papers and products ahead of time. I think that’s one of my favorite things about being on a design team!
Studio Calico has three new releases this show: Wonderland, Yearbook, and Classic Calico III. They are all three fabulous, versatile collections that you will want to stock up on! I worked with Wonderland and Classic Calico and have three layouts to share…but ask that you forgive the colors shown in the pics. I totally forgot to photograph my layouts before I sent them off. After 5 years of CHA design you’d think I would have known better! But there was a tight turnaround and I was in a tizzy trying to get them out on time. Ugh! So the SC girls at the show took some photos for me, but of course the lighting in the convention center is really awful. So bear with me!
Wonderland: The die cut frames are soooo cute! I added some silhouette cut snowflakes too. Banner is made from the hexagon stickers.
Wonderland: Too many adorable patterns to pick from, so for this one I just used a whole bunch of them in little bits.
Classic Calico: I die cut the sunburst and then filled in the negative spaces with various patterned papers from the collection.
So, which is your favorite new collection? Thanks for stopping by!
