Yes, we’re almost halfway through the month and I’m FINALLY sharing my SC layouts on my blog. At least I’m beating the April kit sneak by a few hours, right? Anyways, I made three pages I love with the Story Hour kit and Illustrated and Encyclopedia add ons. They came together really easily…such a great mix of products and colors in these kits!
First up my main kit only page….
Girl Time: I cut lots of paper strips for this one and just started weaving them together in sections to form the background. The title and photo mat were cut with the Silhouette. Supplies: Story Hour kit , Silhouette Cameo, pink floss
Paper Airplane Expert: This one was inspired by a print I saw on Pinterest (you can see it here). The airplanes were cut with the Silhouette.Supplies: Story Hour kit and Illustrated and Encyclopedia add ons, Silhouette Cameo, Mister Huey’s White
Flashback: This was a fun page to put together. I found a photo of my husband in a similar shirt/costume to the one my son is wearing in the larger photo. I thought they just needed to be on a page side by side! (plus, Will is like my husband’s mini-me, so it’s perfect!) I used the hexagon stickers sheet negative as a mask with some Zing! embossing powder to make the yellow hexagons.Supplies: Story Hour kit and Illustrated and Encyclopedia add ons, Mustard Zing!
I also have these two layouts to share… first one with SC’s Abroad.
This was a fun page to put together. I wanted to document how toy story crazed Will is right now! And then there’s this page that’s up on the SC blog this week… the weekly challenge to use a Dr. Suess quote on your layout. You can read all about how I made the layout here.
I hope lots of you will play along! You can never have too much Dr. Suess!
