I loved this SC kit as soon as I opened the box. But as I used it… I loved it even more! The colors, patterns, embellies, exclusives… all just lovely. You should definitely try to add More SC to your cart his month… the papers KP did are awesome. I got Rope Swing, Pink Lemonade, and Clear Skies.
This one uses just Clear Skies. And some Aqua Zing! I recently updated my Versamark ink pad and I love Zing more now. Before I felt like I was just blowing the powder away with my heat tool before it could really set. Now that it sticks better with a new ink pad… perfection!
Awesome text stamp above! I mixed some Apricot and Blush Zing to make it more interesting. It’s subtle, but I like it. I couldn’t decide if I should make it orange or pink…so I went with a little of both! I also broke out the Sew Easy Tool with the Zig Zag attachment to make the flower stems. It worked really well for me, but I did have to go back and punch a few holes with my needle. I liked using it to make a curvy line…less pressure then when I’m trying to get it perfectly straight!
I love how the SC doily paper worked with this layout! So fun. Lots of hand stitching and circles.
Went a bit crazy hand-cutting paper for this one, but I love how it turned out. And that Basic Grey alpha for SC… LOVE the color!
And finally this last one. It may be my first layout with a “vintage” pic. A photo of my parents on their wedding day! I love Crate’s Portrait collection and used lots from the Chipboard pack that will be in the shop. The polaroid frames are awesome and the colors…so pretty. You could use it for more than just weddings.
And that’s it! There are so many bits that I want to use…. I know I’ll be pulling this kit out for more pages in the near future. It’s become a new favorite for me!
