There’s been a lot of threads at SC lately about organization of your supplies and I think they finally inspired me to do something productive with my Making Memories wall shelf storage thing that I’ve had for a while now but don’t use in a productive way. Before I just had random stuff up there. Not really organized, more just stashed there. And the ribbon holder rods stumped me b/c I don’t really store my ribbon that way and you can’t take the rods out…so what do you do with those two shelves? Well, I finally took some time and attacked the shelf and I’m so happy I did! It’s a happy rainbow now…
(sorry for the cruddy pic…it’s sort of dark here today.) I lined up all my Mister Huey’s on top. LOOOOVVVEEEE. I feel inspired to mist something just from looking at them up there! And then I used my child labor here to sort all my 100s of buttons into jars according to color. They actually enjoyed this…yes, they did. 😉 I couldn’t fit all the buttons into the jars, but at least that’s the main colors. And then I filled up a bin with tapes, added my few lonely wood mounted rubber stamps, my Creative Cafe label stamps, some glitter jars, and viola… I love it!
Then I discoved a use for the ribbon holder rod. I’m going to use the curtain hanging rings to display new product I want to use. Maybe put the latest month’s kit goodies there? Who knows! I need to buy more of those rings first. But I like having a space to hang things…packs of rubons or notes or photos or whatever. Doesn’t it feel so good when you organize something?
