I have always loved the December kits at Studio Calico. They’re always a great mix of holiday and non-holiday designs. And since the DT gets to work with them in November, they always get me in the Christmas spirit. I tend to buy all the add-ons with a holiday tilt to them, since it’s the only time of the year I actually scrap Christmas for some reason. So this month I got Park Bench, Busy Sidewalks, and Holiday Lights. Holiday Lights is the only one of the three still left, so hurry over and snatch it up!
The colors in main kit are gorgeous. I did this layout with just the main and I love how it turned out.
Then I moved on to the Christmas photos from last year. Well, just a couple. One of Santa making Cate’s nose light up like Rudolf’s….
(used some Classic White Mister Huey’s here to tone down the background pp)
And the other is the pic we used on our Christmas card…..
This photo only took like a million shots to get. 😉 Anyways, I tore apart the Making Memories poinsetta leaves to make the tree and sprayed the chipboard words with Schoolhouse and Classic Cream Mister Huey’s.
And then I decided that I wanted to document our December in some way but with everything else going on right now I just don’t think I can get a whole mini album done. Soooo….I came up with the December Daily layout idea. I just left room for my 25 2×3 photos on the lefthand page. Also worked in my favorite months stamp set and some Stick Candy JBS ink. (And hey, you may as well grab the sister set to the month stamps…the day of the week stamp set that’s new in the shop! So cool!)
Thanks for stopping by!
