How’s that for a random hodgepodge of a post? First, the giveway…because that’s of course the best part. Free stuff!!! The wonderful Kelly Purkey is getting ready to start up the sequel to her wildly popular Sketchbook class. Here are the details…
Sketchbook 2 is a four week class filled with fresh sketches, easy instructions, beautiful examples, and lots of fun. From August 2nd to August 27th a PDF will be delivered to your inbox every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so you can work at your own pace. By the end of the class, you’ll have a complete sketchbook of 12 original sketches, 36 layouts, and an additional 36 sketches based on those creative pages. All the examples are brand new layouts, exclusive to this class… you won’t see them anywhere else! The best part is that you will be receiving an example layout from me for each of the sketches, along with two example layouts from a member of the incredible Studio Calico design team. The class will also include a private message board for questions and sharing ideas, as well as two scheduled chats – all on the awesome Studio Calico website.
Go here to see the registration specifics on Kelly’s blog. BUT, also leave a comment on this post and you’ll be entered to win a free spot in Kelly’s class. How cool is that?! And if you check out the other SC DT’s blog, you’ll have even more chances to win. Very cool.
Next I have a layout with SC’s Documentary to share. I haven’t scrapped much fro m our trip to France last summer. I’ve done pics from the wedding and a random page about Paris… but I just haven’t gotten all the photos done yet. But I’ve always really loved this shot of my dad and Cate and I thought it went well with the papers and the topic of the page.
And finally… a class. I’m teaching at Creating Keepsakes Convention – Valley Forge, PA this coming Friday. It’s Studio Calico’s Masking and Misting class and it’s going to be so much fun. The classes are both FULL! eek! Here’s one of the 2 layouts we’ll be doing. I added some stitching to mine just because.
And if you can’t make it to Valley Forge next weekend, maybe you can get to CKC – Virginia Beach instead. I’ll be there teaching the same class at the end of August!
And that’s it. Thanks for making it through that randomness. And have a wonderful week!
