In case anyone even noticed! So I thought maybe I should do that a week + later. sigh.
My challenge was to use punches in three ways… punch a photo, punch a paper, and punch a product. Here’s what I came up with myself…
Will is 6 months old now and it dawned on me that I haven’t done a great job of recording his “milestones”. Bad mommy. So I’m trying to do a month sum-up page for each month now. I’ve gotten his first two months done so far! Only 4 more to catch up to where he is now. I’m finding the months stamps are PERFECT for this and will be the unifying thing in this 12 part series of pages. yay! I punched the smaller photo with my handy 2.5 inch circle punch, used my scallop edge punch on the paper edges, and then stamped smaller circles in the Maya Road envelope for my accent stamp to show through. On the envelope I used two different number stamp sets. The digits LG as a complete set on the outside of the envelope and then just the “2” from the storytime numbers inside the punched out circle. Then I painted it red to make it stand out more. And of course used my old standard Stazon Black for all the stamping. I need to branch out more in other ink colors, but I kinda don’t know where to start! Any suggestions?
And here’s another layout that I shared already over at SC , but not here….
I used some bits and pieces of my Granny’s Cupboard kit and then these pieces from Anthology: Alpha Stickers, Lithograph, and Compilation. I cut the cute frames out of Odds n’ Ends from Homefront (which remember is on it’s last printing…so when it’s gone it’s gone!!!). Filled the frames with yummy colors of buttons and then added little touches here and there, including a piece punched from this punch.
And finally, just for fun this cute pic of our future Nittany Lion?
He’s got 2 parents, 2 aunts and 1 uncle who all are alums. That makes him a legacy, right? 😉
