We are home! And it feels so good to be back home. We had an amazing time in France. It was exhausting and exciting at the same time. I have almost 300 photos from our trip, so I’ll post just a few of the highlights. First, let me say that my 3 year old did so, so well the entire trip. She was jetlagged, got no sleep, trekked all over Paris, on planes, trains, buses, taxis, stayed up way too late every night, ate strange food (for a 3 year old!) and did all of it without out much whining or complaining at all! That itself was a miracle! And I think she may have had a little fun doing it all. Even if she did sleep in the stroller through some of Paris’ most known sites…the Louvre and Notre Dame in particular. But that’s okay!
Here are some more of my favorite pics in and around Paris….
Before we left, my friend Davinie had suggested we make “flat Connor and flat Jack” to take along for photo shots in front of the famous places in Paris. Sort of like Flat Stanley. Well, I had told the boys about that idea and they didn’t say much until an hour before I left. Then Jack came up to me with this little tiny cut out figure called “Flat Jack” that he wanted me to put in my purse and take with me. His one request was that I take of picture of Flat Jack in front of the Eiffel Tower. So….these two are for Jack! Look closely! 😉
Okay…I’ll be back later with the second half of our trip…the WEDDING! Thanks for stopping by!
(oh, and sorry these pics are so big! I tried to select “medium” for the size, but wordpress apparently ignored me!)
