Finally getting around to posting all my April pages for Studio Calico’s Jack and Jill kit. Sorry I’ve been so bad at keeping up with this blog lately!
This one is my favorite I think. I was inspired by all the Cosmo chipboard pieces to make a page about my son and what he might be when he grows up.
Little fish? My children? Not quite! LOL These are some swim lesson pics from over a year ago, but they still make me giggle. I turned the buttons into little fish by stitching tails on them…super easy.
I really liked the colors and designs of the Cosmo card sheet, or whatever you call it. But I didn’t have any good pics to go with them, so I did this non-photo layout as a timeline of our marriage so far. I did simple bullet point type journaling to highlight what was going on each year.
And finally this one of my nephew on his first bday. Is this a cute pic or what?! He was so funny eating his cake. I dont’ think I’ve ever seen a 1 year old ever so serious and intent on getting every last lick of the cake as he was. I painted the HS invisibles stars with paint, let it sit for just a minute and then gently rubbed it off to let the grid design show up.
I promise that I WILL update again tomorrow… Pink Paislee is having a fun Spring Blog Hop and each DT member will be sharing a spring/Easter project and a giveaway! You can stop by each team member’s blog for a chance to win! See you tomorrow.
