Around this time last year I got a box of goodies in the mail from Rebecca Cross. She was starting a new scrapbooking company called Pink Paislee and asked me to create a few booth samples for the winter CHA show. I knew her company would be a hit when I saw those first two lines… but it just keeps getting better and better with each new release! So, I’m super excited to have been asked back again this year as part of the 2009 Design Team! Excited and very humbled after seeing all the other names there on the list and the guest designer list. Wow! I hope I can keep up with them!
I also wanted to share a quick layout I did a couple weeks ago for the Studio Calico blog. Stephanie and I were hosting a 4 product challenge over there and this was my attempt at it. You could use 1 sheet of patterned paper; a SC stamp; buttons, and a length of ribbon. I think this was the fastest page I’ve ever scrapped. Seriously. And it was kind of nice being limited to just those 4 things….less choices made for a quicker process. I tend to be just a *tad* indecisive at times. Ha!
Patterned paper is Pink Paislee, buttons are Making Memories, stamps are a set from Little Monkeys designed by Studio Calico, and ribbon is Cosmo Cricket. I used some pop dots to elevate the center section and give it some depth.
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. School starts back up on Monday here…which is a good thing for all of us I think!
