I think I’m really getting into the holiday spirit now! We decorated the house, went to the annual Christmas parade here, and got our tree all during the past two days. I dug out all my Christmas CD’s and have been humming along with them throughout the day. I love Christmas music. And this CD by Point of Grace is one of my all time favorites.
I even decided earlier in the week that I wanted to play along with seemingly every other scrapbooker out there in creating a December Daily minibook. So I’ve been busily working on that too…and it’s been so nice to use up all the little odds and ends of Christmas themed scrappy STUFF that I’ve accumulated over the years. I finished it today…but didn’t get a chance to print any pics yet or take photos of it… I’ll try to do that tomorrow!
But I can leave you with some Pink Paislee Tinsel Town projects that might inspire some holiday spirit. We’ve been sharing Christmas ornaments on the Pink Paislee blog all this month in a 12 Days Of Christmas countdown. Be sure to check out all the gorgeous creations the team came up with! Here are my contributions…
For this one I used a Creative Cafe felt pocket as the base. It could hold a gift card or money or some little candies.
For this second ornament I used a Jenni Bowlin scalloped circle and glittered up a plain chipboard snowflake with Pixie Stix glitter. Pretty simple and easy to do!
I also created a little card set using Tinsel Town. I came up with a basic sketch and then adapted it to make four different cards using all Tinsel Town papers, stamps, rubons, and ribbons.
I don’t have time to post each card and how-to’s right now. But if you have any questions about them, just let me know and I’ll answer you!
Hope you have a great rest of your Sunday. Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow with some pics of my December Daily book!
