since I’ve update this thing! So this post will be photo heavy with lots of projects that I want to share. First things first…my Studio Calico layouts with the Confections Aug. kit.
This first one is about my 3 year old and her love for her baby doll. I think this photo is so sweet…that particular doll is probably her favorite of all of them. I actually used part of the packaging from the Making Memories letter stickers I think it was for the green mat. It’s a subtle polka dot that went perfectly with the Heather Bailey paper. Who knew? Then I found some old ink I had that happend to match the papers really well too (which is amazing since I have like 5 ink pads total! LOL) and used that with the SC stamps this month to make the houndstooth print beneath the photo and the butterfly.
I loved the die cut Karen Russell paper and tried to use it as is, but nothing was coming to me so I ended up cutting it into different pieces and then reassembling it for the frame on this one. Does anyone else have evening pajama dance parties at their house? Love these blurry photos of them all dancing together….
For this one I cut out the giant paisleys from the Heather Bailey paper and then layered the white KI butterfly lace paper on white cardstock for little texture. This photo of Cate just screams summer to me…scraped knees, sweaty hair and all!
I usually save the journaling on my pages until the end. It’s the last thing I do. And on this one I forgot to add it before I took the pic of it for the slide show. It hit me later that I didn’t write anything on it. I was so rushed trying to get the others done after CHA…oops! Anyways, I have a snacker. She is eating this and that and everything all day long. Really. “I’m hungry” is her favorite line I think! I cut out some of the pattern on the SEI paper to let the teal paper show through beneath.
Okay…are you still with me? I have a couple Pink Paislee things to share too. First a mini album that I did for the show but forgot to post here.
My sister in law put together the sweetest, most fun little Princess Party for my niece’s third birthday. The kids were all dressed as princesses and knights (she kept saying princes, but my one son kept correcting her that they were KNIGHTS!) and she had lots of great activities related to the theme for them to keep busy with. The album is a flower shape with each page having a few petals..which was really throwing me off as to what to do with it. Then I decided to just go with a circle design and add some glitter to the petals and it came together pretty quickly. This is all the Pop Fashion line from Pink Paislee. YUM!
Finally, (geez, this is getting long!) one more page with Pink Paislee’s Pop Fashion and a little Vintage Moon too…. my little girly girl who is one tough cookie!
I dressed up the clear buttons with some of PP’s silver rub-ons…it worked really well and I love how it looks!
Okay…I think I’m done now! Thanks for getting this far. Hope you had a great weekend!
