This month’s Studio Calico kit is full of fruity fun! Seriously, it’s beautiful and has the perfect colors and patterns for spring and summer. Here are my projects….I had the main kit and Quilting Bee, along with some odds and ends from the other add ons.
This one uses just the main kit. My boys at their birthday parade at preschool…. I cut out the October Afternoon apples and put the American Crafts journaling spot on a piece of cardstock to make it show up better.
This one is my fave from the bunch. I covered the Maya Road chipboard treetops with some AC ribbon. Actually the backside of the ribbon. KI buttons, OA paper and of course that awesome Studio Calico woodgrain stamp!
This one…is my niece Kendall at her 3rd birthday party. It was a princess themed party and so cute! Can you spot the other exclusive Studio Calico stamp?
I had fun with this one. Actually put the KI apple lace paper on a tilt…gasp. Goes against my normally straight lines but I thought it loooked right with the upside down photo! And that little boy punch I’ve had for YEARS…so glad to use it again finally!
And finally…. a little altered item. I made this using an Altoid tin. Covered it with the October Afternoon papers and added some Cosmo Cricket ribbon with two of the little Maya Road fruit charms attached. The holes in the fruit charms are too small for the ribbon to fit through so I faked it by attaching them with wire to the ribbon knot. I used this to hold a gift card for my sons’ preschool teacher. A gift card fits perfectly inside a little Altoid tin!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Have a great day!
