It’s been a rainy, cloudy weekend here…perfect for staying inside and scrapping! We actually braved the chilly weather today for a trip to Busch Gardens and had a great, slightly wet time. I thought I’d share some Pink Paislee projects I finished yesterday.
Here’s a card I made with the Spring Fling line and some die cut tags from Office Lingo. And yes, those are toothpicks holding up the “4 You” signs.
For this layout I used the pretty die cut circle paper…love this paper. Made the little sun from scraps of the orange die cut paper. The letter stamps and die cut are also PP!
On a different note, I’m involved with my local MOPS group. I’m actually the Creative Activities leader/person/whatever. For our last craft of the year I decided to use some of my scrapbooking supplies and some cheap unfinished frames from Oriental Trading Co to make these little keepsakes. The contain this year’s theme verse. I painted, sanded, and inked the frame to distess it. Then on the printed cardstock I handstitched the butterfly’s path. It’s hard to see in the photo. I used scraps to back the HS butterflies and added them to the outside of the frame along with some rick rack. I hope the moms will like it and enjoy making it!
Have a great day!
